The Hadal Blacksite

The Hadal Blacksite is a deep-sea underground research facility operated by a shadowy organization. Its exact location is unknown — some believe it is situated in the Mariana Trench or beyond. The facility is dedicated to studying anomalous entities and conducting experiments that push the boundaries of science and ethics.

The facility is divided into multiple zones, each progressively deeper and more dangerous. The deeper you go, the more disturbing the experiments become. Researchers who enter rarely come back the same — if they come back at all.

Sebastian Solace

Sebastian Solace is a central figure in the lore of Pressure. A former researcher at the Hadal Blacksite, his role and motivations remain partially shrouded in mystery. Documents found throughout the facility suggest he was involved in the most dangerous experiments — and may have been the one who triggered the catastrophic events that led to the current situation.

Players have discovered audio logs and data fragments that hint at Sebastian's past, his relationship with the facility, and what he was trying to achieve. Some believe he is the key to understanding the true nature of the entities.

The Entities

The entities that haunt the Hadal Blacksite are not ordinary creatures. They appear to be the result of experiments conducted at the facility — biological and mechanical hybrids that defy conventional classification. Some, like The Angler, exhibit behaviors that suggest intelligence and purpose. Others, like The Flesh, seem to be failed experiments that escaped containment.

What makes them particularly dangerous is their adaptability. No two encounters are the same, and they seem to learn from each interaction with survivors.

The Crystal

At the heart of the Hadal Blacksite lies a crystal — the primary power source of the entire facility. This crystal is central to the facility's operations and the experiments conducted there. Players must reach it as part of their escape, but its true nature remains a mystery.

Data logs reference the crystal as "the heart of Hadal" and suggest it is connected to the entity phenomena. Some believe it is the source of the entities' power.

The Submarine & Escape

The submarine represents the only confirmed escape route from the Hadal Blacksite. After obtaining the crystal, players must follow the announcer's instructions to locate and board the submarine before the facility's failsafes are fully engaged.

The escape sequence is tense — with entities actively hunting as you make your final approach. Those who make it aboard the submarine successfully complete a run.

The "God is Coming" Mystery

One of the most intriguing elements of Pressure's lore is the recurring phrase "God is coming." This message appears under various circumstances during gameplay — sometimes as a warning, sometimes as a prophecy.

Players have theorized extensively about what "God" refers to. Some believe it is an as-yet-unseen entity of immense power. Others think it is related to Sebastian Solace himself. The truth remains unrevealed.
